Still, new UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman would have preferred a different photo be used in the poster for UFC 168 and his rematch against former champ Anderson Silva.
As for the "Leave No Doubt" tagline used on the poster?
"I like that," Weidman said Wednesday at a UFC 168 promotional...Read more »
The good-hearted folks at MMA Fighting were kind enough to set a place at the table for me in a guest appearance on Episode 19 of The MMA Beat.
Embedded below is the show, where I say some things that may or may not be perceived as viable MMA commentary. I'm partially afraid to watch it since I'm my own worst critic, but I'm more afraid to read the comments since maybe I'm not my own worst...Read more »
On the off chance you haven't heard Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman answer these questions of late, here's one more chance.
Weidman, the reigning UFC middleweight champion, and Silva, the former champion, spent Thursday at ESPN doing a media blitz.
Here's a clip from MMA Live Extra.

Of course, 9th degree red belt is impressive enough. But perhaps more impressive is that Mansur is one of only 22...Read more »
Jon Jones is better suited keeping his strikes inside the cage. His first pitch at the Blue Jays-Yankees game on Tuesday was a smidge or two out of the strike zone.
But at least he reached the plate, and did so from the mound, two things many celebrity first-pitch throwers rarely do.
Jones, who is in Toronto to defend his light heavyweight title against Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 165,...Read more »
In the span of eight days beginning Sept. 23, Chris Weidman and Anderson Silva will visit seven cities across the United States and Brazil to promote their rematch at UFC 168 in Las Vegas on Dec. 28.
Presumably, they will be asked many of the same questions in each city and offer the same answers. Expect quite a few of them to be about UFC 162 when Weidman upset Silva to win the middleweight...Read more »
Elvis Mutapcic received his show money after having his World Series of Fighting debut bout scrapped just beforehand Saturday by the New Jersey State Athletic Commission when an inspector reported allegedly seeing him take a pill from a bottle that was previously undisclosed to the commission.
That's a small financial consolation for something Mutapcic says he didn't do.
"I really...Read more »
