A mixed martial arts blog about UFC, Bellator and other MMA promotions and fighters.
These days, such commentary usually winds up on Twitter, lost to many of you in your timelines or -- gasp! -- not even seen by those not on Twitter.
So, here were my thoughts as I watched the second episode of "UFC Primetime" leading up to Cain Velasquez vs. Junior Dos Santos at UFC 166 on Oct. 19, 2013, in Houston.
-- Um, wherever those opening beach scenes are from, yeah,...Read more »
As of Monday, it has been two years and six days since UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz last fought instead the octagon.
Knee surgery caused him to miss his title defense against Urijah Faber at UFC 148 (the co-main event with Anderson Silva's rematch against Chael Sonnen). A second knee surgery caused an even longer delay for Cruz.
UFC president Dana White said recently that...Read more »

"I like that," Weidman said Wednesday at a UFC 168 promotional...Read more »
