I'm a big fan of entrance music for fighters. Not really sure why, except to say that I'm a music fan and can appreciate how the right song in the right setting can create the right mood.

Or maybe it's just because I enjoy being entertained, such as when Georges St-Pierre walked into the Octagon at UFC 111 in Newark to "Juicy" by Notorious B.I.G.

Whatever the case may be, here's a little nugget about Saturday night's Jose Aldo-Urijah Faber main event at WEC 48 in Sacramento.

At the 3:10 mark of his April 22 video blog, UFC president Dana White is shown behind the scenes with some of his production team. Seems like they were going over entrance music. The song playing? "Run This Town" by Jay-Z, featuring Rihanna and Kanye West.

"Aldo's coming in to 'Run This Town.' In Sacramento. That's funny."

Hell, yeah it's funny. Gutsy, too, especially when you read our earlier post about the Faber fanatics in Sacramento. Whether or not that will happen, we'll have to wait and see. We can't embed the White blog here because there's some cussin' in it. But we did put a photo of Aldo at the top of this post and the "Run This Town" video below.

Look at the photo, listen to the song and throw some things at your computer screen. Then you'll get the feeling of what it will be like in ARCO Arena on Saturday night.
