The UFC was one of the early pro sports leagues to integrate Twitter into its marketing and promoting of events and fighters.

Many things go into determining how many followers a fighter has -- from performance in the cage, to engagement on Twitter, to sponsorship campaigns, to existing profile/status in the UFC, to at least a dozen other things.

Welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre won a controversial split decision to retain his title against Johny Hendricks at UFC 167 in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

New EA Sports UFC trailer released, sort of

A new clip from EA Sports hit YouTube on Monday entitled "EA Sports UFC - Vision trailer."

It opens with a disclaimer slate that reads, "May Contain Content Inappropriate for Children."

What it should say is this: "May Not Contain Content From The Actual Game as the Word 'Trailer' Would Imply."

But that's too much copy for one screen in large font.
