As the mixed martial arts world has known and reported the last few weeks, UFC 112 will happen in an open-air stadium in Abu Dhabi on April 10, 2010, the UFC confirmed Tuesday.

It's a big move for UFC, which sold 10 percent of its company to Flash Entertainment, the United Arab Emirates-based company. It's also the first open-air event for the UFC. If all goes well, might we see something similar here in the States? Maybe Yankee Stadium or Fenway Park or the Rose Bowl?

The UFC 112 fight card is ridiculous, with these top three main events:

Anderson Silva vs. Vitor Belfort for the middleweight title
BJ Penn vs. Frankie Edgar for the lightweight title
Renzo Gracie vs. Matt Hughes

Should be interesting to see how the rest of the card fills out. With a monster top slate of fights like mentioned above, you could put a tomato against a bunch of grapes on the undercard and people would still cheer for it.
