MLB admits selling World Series tickets to some
Major League Baseball acknowledged Tuesday night that it makes a limited number of World Series tickets available at face value to various groups with which it has "relationships,'' from members of Congress to sponsors to the news media.
"It's a courtesy for people that we do regular business with throughout the year,'' MLB spokesman Pat Courtney said before Game 6 of the World Series.
