Opened in 1951, Riverhead is one of the country's oldest stock car tracks. The quarter-mile asphalt, high-banked oval course is home to NASCAR stock car racing, featuring demolition derbies, modifieds, figure 8s, blunderbusts, super pro trucks and more. Five to six racing divisions are featured every Saturday night.

 Hours: Saturday: Gates open at 3 p.m.; Pace car parade and National Anthem and show at 5:30 p.m. Sunday: Once a month check website or call for schedule, General admission gates open at noon show at 12:30 p.m. Season: Open May-September
