The Vikings officially announced the signing of former Jets offensive lineman Vladimir Ducasse.
Ducasse never lived up to expectations after being selected by the Jets in the second round of the 2010 draft. He was beaten out in training camp by Matt Slauson (now with the Bears) in 2012 and was benched in favor of rookie guard Brian Winters after a Week 4 loss to the Titans last season....Read more »
Mark Sanchez could be an Eagle by tomorrow.
The former Jets quarterback already is in Philly, according to a source, and is scheduled to meet with the team and undergo his physical tomorrow.
And if his medical evaluation checks out, the Eagles are expected to sign him.
Sanchez missed all of last season after suffering a torn labrum in his right (throwing) shoulder in the preseason...Read more »
Some may question whether Michael Vick has anything left. But he doesn't.
The veteran quarterback already is gearing up for his offseason quarterback competition with Geno Smith. And Vick has no doubt he's got what it takes to be a full-time starter again.

Michael Vick admitted on a Friday night conference call that a return to Philly "would have been tough." As much as he wanted to return, he could see the writing on the wall. His replacement, Nick Foles, "played out of his mind last year" and Vick knew there was nothing he could do to win back his starting job.
But though he wishes things had ended differently in Philly, Vick has no hard feelings...Read more »
The end of Mark Sanchez’s tenure with the Jets appears to be coming to a close.
Or is it?
While many expect the Jets to release the veteran quarterback any day now, Rex Ryan left the door open (albeit slightly) that Sanchez could remain on the roster in 2014.
“That could happen,” the Jets coach said on ESPN radio Friday afternoon, when asked if he could envision a scenario...Read more »

Turns out, the Jets may not only be interested in Michael Vick.
According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, they're just one of the teams that has "inquired" about trading for DeSean Jackson.
It's been reported that the Eagles aren't necessarily shopping the 27-year-old receiver, but it's become increasingly clear that Philly is at least entertaining the idea. The Jets, meanwhile, are...Read more »
John Idzik never confirmed Michael Vick’s visit to Florham Park on Friday, but the Jets general manager didn’t deny it either.
Instead, Idzik highlighted Marty Mornhinweg’s extensive history with Vick during their time together in Philly.
“To answer your question in generalities – as you probably would predict,” Idzik said on a conference call Thursday afternoon, when asked specifically...Read more »
