Mariel Zagunis is a two-time Olympic gold medalist in fencing for Team USA and will carry the flag in the opening ceremony for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

In both 2004 and 2008, Zagunis was a heavy underdog in sabre. Each Olympics, though, she took home gold. In 2012, she’s a heavy favorite, looking to complete the three-peat.
