Oscar Pistorius convicted of culpable homicide in girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp's murder

South African runner Oscar Pistorius was the first double-leg amputee to participate in the Olympics. On Feb. 14, 2013, Pistorius was charged with the murder of his girlfriend after model Reeva Steenkamp was shot inside the athlete's home in South Africa. On Sept. 12, 2014, a South African judge found Pistorius guilty of culpable homicide in Steenkamp's death, but declared him not guilty of murder.
