2012 LONDON OLYMPICS
Result: Gold medal
Key players: Kevin Durant (19.5 PPG), Carmelo Anthony (16.3 PPG)
All the talk leading up to the Olympics was whether the 2012 team could top the Dream Team. In the end, they were nearly as dominant. Led by Kevin Durant and LeBron James, there was never really any doubt that Team USA would win gold, wrapping up a dominant showing with a 107-100 win over Spain in the gold medal game. Mike Krzyzewski, the team's head coach, won gold in his final game; he finished with two gold medals and a 62-1 record during his tenure as the team's head coach. The Olympic game was also the final for Kobe Bryant.
