Hiroki Kuroda will get the start in Game 2 of the American League Championship Series against the Detroit Tigers on Sunday, the Yankees announced Saturday.

Kuroda started Game 3 of the ALDS against the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday. He allowed two runs on fives hits in 8.1 innings in his fourth career postseason start.

It's the first time in Kuroda's career he'll be pitching on three days rest.

Kuroda will be up against Tigers righthander Anibal Sanchez. Sanchez suffered the loss in Game 3 of the ALDS against the Oakland Athletics, which was his first career postseason start.

The Yankees will throw Phil Hughes in Game 3 Tuesday and CC Sabathia in Game 4 Wednesday in Detroit.

Game 2 is slated for 4 p.m. Sunday at Yankee Stadium.
