Mets closer Frank Francisco will not be available for Wednesday night's game against the Phillies.

Francisco last pitched on Sunday against the Brewers. Collins said his elbow has been an issue since then, though he didn't disclose the condition until Wednesday because the Mets haven't needed Francisco to pitch.

Collins said the pitcher is listed as day-to-day after undergoing an MRI exam.

Francisco owns a 1-3 mark with a 5.53 ERA and 23 saves.
