Cindy Hall, a Grandview native who resides in Mariposa, Calif., but returns to Dr. Davies Farm every fall for apple-picking season, helps customer John Massaro of Old Tappan, N.J., at the farm stand on Route 304 in Congers. "I've been doing this for 24 years and they're like family. I love them," Hall said, of the Davies family. The Davies family has run been running the farm since 1891 and boasts 4,000 apple trees on 35 acres of land. (Sept. 17, 2012)
