Last month, the County Parks Department rounded up 500 geese from the Sprain Lake Golf Course in Yonkers to be euthanized. Officials said the birds were overrunning the course and attacking golfers.

The meat was then sent upstate to be processed and turned into geese burgers, which will soon be served up to needy families through the Food Bank of Westchester County.
