Orange County is opening its Stony Ford and Hickory Hill Golf courses for the 2013 golf season on April 4, conditions and weather permitting.
"We have two challenging courses in our county for residents and visitors to utilize at a great value," County Executive Edward A. Diana said in a news release Thursday.
"Both Stony Ford and Hickory Hill feature a pro shop, driving range and concession/restaurant with banquet room," Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation Commissioner Richard Rose added in the release. "Catering services are available for golf outings, wedding receptions, private parties and other functions as well."
Both courses will begin the season with cart path restrictions until the courses have dried out. Tee times are available by calling the courses, and the automated tee time service will be activated by mid-April.
Stony Ford Golf Course is at Route 416 in Hamptonburgh and Hickory Hill is at 156 Rte. 17A, Warwick.
