For anyone who would like to experience much of what draws a jet-setting crowd to the Hamptons every summer — but do so at one single event — the Day & Night brunch set for Saturday, May 25 is the way to do so.

There are many parties that take place throughout the summer season on the East End, but few can claim to match the festive legacy that Day & Night offers when it comes to recurring, world-class gatherings. Back in the Hamptons for a fifth year, the D&N bash is part of the party series thrown by brothers Daniel and Derek Koch, nightlife impresarios and owners of Toy restaurant in Manhattan (18 Ninth Ave., 212-203-5422).

Through their hospitality company Dual Groupe, the two have also held Day & Night events in Manhattan and Miami, as well as abroad at such fete-friendly locales as Cannes, Monaco, St. Tropez and St. Barts. The crowds that attend these happenings are known to travel to do so, which probably explains why it’s not uncommon to rub elbows with an international set of well-dressed party people at the Hamptons edition.

The first Day & Night took place in Southampton at the Capri (281 County Rd. 39A, 631-504-6575) back in 2009, then moved in 2010 to East Hampton Point (295 Three Mile Harbor Rd., East Hampton, 631-329-2800) before setting up shop in Montauk at Gurney’s Inn (290 Old Montauk Hwy., 631-668-2345) in 2011, which has since remained its regular location. Starting this year at 2 p.m., it will definitely blossom into a wild time — but it is still a brunch after all — and guests will be able to take on such edibles as Maine lobster rolls ($25), Angus beef sliders ($15) and pomme frites ($7).

However, as is true for many fans of brunch, Champagne is often a main attraction — and Day & Night will certainly feature luxurious options by the bottle, ranging in price from a $300 Moet Chandon NV Ice Imperial option to a $5500 Louis Roederer Cristal Brut 2004. And, to further demonstrate the centric nature of bubbly at a Day & Night get-together, a magnum of Dom Perignon Rose Luminous will be delivered at some point during the festivities . . . by skydiver. (Yes, someone will literally be parachuting, dropping over 13,000 feet, into Day & Night with that Dom P. Jeroboam.) The wrap time is sundown, and by that juncture it is likely that the majority of those in attendance will doing less in the way of eating, but instead be up on their feet and dancing with verve.

Beats will be provided by DJ Claudius Raphael, with table service starting at $2500. For more information or to make a reservation, head online to dualgroupe.com.
