Providing both a night out and a chance to help a local charity, Napper Tandy’s in Smithtown is hosting a fundraiser for The Down Syndrome Connection of Long Island (DSCLI) on Friday, Nov. 9.

Taking place between 7 and 10 p.m., this special event will feature three hours of live music from cover band FiveStone, as well as raffle baskets, a buffet dinner, unlimited tap beer, wine and soda – all to aid the efforts of the DSCLI, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit volunteer organization consisting of members drawn from Long Island families and people whose lives have been touched by the chromosomal condition Down syndrome.

RSVPs can be made by emailing connect@dscli.org, calling 631-678-6810 or on Facebook at facebook.com/DSCLI. Admission is $40 per person; for more information, head online to dscli.org. As for Friday night at Napper’s following this affair, the usual good times are to go, with free admission for ladies and drink specials for all (age of admission is 21 and older).
