Smackdown superstar Sin Cara was suspended by the WWE for violating the company's Talent Wellness Program yesterday, according to the WWE's website

Here is the statement they released:

In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Luis Ignascio Urive Alvirde (Sin Cara) for 30 days for his first violation of the company’s policy.

This would explain why Sin Cara was taken out of Sunday's Money in the Bank pay per view on a stretcher. Sheamus gave him a mean power bomb through a table so the WWE has an on-air excuse to keep him off TV.

This has to be devastating to the WWE since they were pushing him as a major star on the Smackdown brand. This has to be even more disappointing to a guy like Triple H, who recruited him out of Mexico. Sin Cara was one of Triple H's first additions to the roster since he moved backstage in a talent developmental role.

Sin Cara debuted on Raw March 25 of this year.

My thoughts: This doesn;t hurt his push when he comes back from suspension. The WWE is in need of star power and ability, both of which Sin Cara has. Plus, he's Triple H's guy and I don't see the powers-to-be pulling the plug so quickly. I don't know what Sin Cara's contract calls for, but he was a huge deal in Texas and I'm sure the WWE has invested a lot of money in him.
