Newsday tag team champs Alfonso Castillo and Josh Stewart slam you with pro wrestling news and insights.
Brock Lesnar’s return to the WWE after eight years pushed everything else to the side on Raw last night. That says a lot about Lesnar because it was one of the best Raws in recent memory.
The Miami crowd was so good last night that the WWE should have them at every televised event. The one thing you may have noticed is how over Daniel Bryan was with the fans in attendance. Fans chanted Bryan’s...Read more »
Wrestlemania 28 is in the books and now we began to break it down and analyze it from top to bottom. Here’s my review of the show with a look at each match:
Sheamus defeated Daniel Bryan for the World Heavyweight Championship
If you thought the World Heavyweight Title go no respect for being the opening match the last two year’s wait till you hear this: The match was over in 18 seconds!...Read more »
World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus
With the talent pool being so shallow on the Smackdown side, WWE has been trying hard to get Sheamus over as an A-list attraction on the blue brand. So all indications are that this match will be the coronation of “The Great White” as Smackdown’s new flag bearer. As talented as both men are—especially Bryan—I’m...Read more »
One of the biggest debates among fans the week of Wrestlemania is the match order for the pay per view.
To many fans, the pecking order of matches is very important as it symbolizes importance as the show makes its way toward the main event. Yet, a Wrestlemania card is not always booked from least important to most important match. If that was the case, then why was the Women’s Title at Wrestlemania...Read more »
The WWE had one last chance to promote Wrestlemania on their flagship television show last night. Raw was held in Atlanta -- the host city of last year’s Wrestlemania -- at the Philips Arena where just about a year ago the “once in a lifetime match” was made between The Rock and John Cena.

I felt Raw was strong but it fell flat compared to the last few weeks, which haven been excellent. The WWE always revs up the product...Read more »
Last night we held our first ever live blog for Raw and you can see my rambling thoughts of the show in real-time by clicking here.
Let’s kick off with what the entire show was based around: The Rock and John Cena. Rocky delivered three recorded segments throughout the show from various parts of Boston. Keyword: recorded – that will come up a little later on so store that in the back of your...Read more »
Last night’s Raw was all about one thing: The Rock and John Cena’s match at Wrestlemania.
Raw culminated with The Rock’s return and a face-to-face showdown. The Rock delivered a decent promo calling Cena “kung pow chicken.” Was the promo up to Rock’s usually high standards? No, but it was still entertaining. The promo wasn’t “electric” because The Rock was too busy explaining to the fans whey...Read more »
