The following was posted on WWE.com: WWE has come to terms on the release of NXT first season rookie Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson ) as of today June 11, 2010. We wish Daniel Bryan the best in all future endeavors.

Earlier tonight the following was posted on his Twitter page: Just changed my twitter name to Bryan Danielson. The winds of change are stirring.

This is very shocking to see one of the more popular stars of the first season of NXT released by the WWE. The WWE usually doesn't fool around when they make announcements like that are their website. But how can this guy be released?

Can it be the WWE released Daniel Bryan, but he will return under his real name: Bryan Danielson? That would be like going back to his indy roots where he made his name. If he is really gone, then he had to do something horrible, which will eventually leak out.

With the NXT stars in the midst of a huge push I wonder if this changes any plans the WWE might have. Other than the NXT winner, Wade Barrett, Daniel Bryan was by far the most popular guy. Some may even say the most popular out of the season one rookies.

I’ll keep you posted on the very latest. However, the more I think about this, the more I do feel it's a work.
