The Steel Cage
Last night’s TNA was billed around the debut of Bart Scott, the return of Hulk Hogan and his group “Immortal,” the Karen Angle-Jeff Jarrett wedding, and of all things a special appearance by former “Jersey Shore” cast member Angelina. Other than Hogan taking over TNA, the rest of the show was hard to watch.
All night TNA was teasing that the TNA champion Jeff...Read more »
After much hype all week, the world got to see Jets’ linebacker Bart Scott make his wrestling debut on TNA’s “Impact” Thursday night.
Scott was brought in to be Hulk Hogan’s “special enforcer” on what was Hogan’s big return to TNA. Hogan and his group, “Immortal,” which also includes legend Rick Flair, and Matt Hardy, are now in charge...Read more »
Jets’ linebacker Bart Scott will make his wrestling debut this Thursday night on TNA’s “iMPACT” at 9 p.m.
We all know Scott can easily cut a promo in the ring. We saw good evidence of that in his post-game interview after beating the Patriots in the playoffs. Scott ranted that the Patriots’ defense “couldn’t stop a nose bleed.” He’s no...Read more »
I didn’t watch last night’s TNA “Against All Odds” pay per view. And judging from the lack of buzz about the show—which featured a world title change—“odds” are that you didn’t either.
Still, I feel the need to weigh in one piece of news coming out of the show that I think is significant.
TNA seems insistent on having a convicted...Read more »

2010 should go down as a memorable year in the pro wrestling business for several reasons, both good and bad. We saw some big successes, including the emergence of newcomers including Jack Swagger, The Miz, Sheamus and the members of Nexus. And some big failures, including TNA’s feeble attempt at waging a new Monday night war, and WWE queen Linda McMahon’s loss in her bid for U.S. Senate.

The title of this blog post had to catch your attention, “Ex-Pro wrestler catches thief.” Don’t get too excited because it’s not Lex Luger or Scott Hall who are taking the law into their own hands.
It’s a funny video you should take a look at as some punk kid tried to break into this former wrestler’s car. Try and catch the referee shirts over the driver...Read more »
The biggest news coming out of last night's "Final Resolution" pay per view may have taken place off-camera. According to several reports, TNA world champion Jeff Hardy was nearly pulled from his main event match and even stripped of his title because of concerns over his well being just before the show was set to start.
If true, the development would be the latest black-eye for...Read more »
There's four hours or original wrestling programming on TV tonight. Here's a quick look.
. I mentioned earlier today that WWE Superstars will sometimes surprise you with a fairly marquis match-up and/or storyline development. It looks like tonight is a good example of that. Following their split, former Hart Dynasty partners and childhood friends David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd do battle...Read more »
