"Our accident investigation team is at the scene investigating the incident," Ramapo police Sgt. Margaret Sammarone said. Route 45 was closed in the area of the crash for about three hours Tuesday morning, police said.

Bibbins was the only one in the car, police said. In addition to misdemeanor drunken driving, she was charged with driving while ability impaired by a combination of drugs and alcohol, a misdemeanor. Police did not identify the drugs Bibbins allegedly had in her system.

Bibbins was taken by Spring Hill Ambulance to Nyack Hospital, where she is listed in critical condition with serious injuries, police said.
