Stop bullying: Be an upstander

We all agree that bullying needs to end.

Kids in our school are not standing still, and our student council is making a Stop Bullying video.

We are going to make the video outside on the school playground and inside our school.

We are doing this because it will show what an "upstander" is and what a bystander is.

A bystander is someone who watches a bully and does nothing to help. An upstander is someone who helps somebody who is being bullied.

All of the student council members are getting together to work on this. We think it will help kids in our school understand how important it is to help others and stand up to bullies.
