Students donate pajamas, books to those in need for holiday season

The Eastchester school is one of about 25 around the county that are donating new clothes to the Pajama Program.

EASTCHESTER - Students at William E. Cottle School are making sure the less fortunate have warm clothes for the holiday season.

The students rolled out of bed this morning and got on the bus dressed in pajamas. They also brought clothes for kids in need. Even the faculty joined in by wearing robes and slippers this morning.

The Eastchester school is one of about 25 around the county that are donating new clothes to the Pajama Program. The nonprofit will then distribute them to local children in shelters and group homes.

The students are also donating books to those in need.
