Suffolk Co. waiving Health Dept. fees for Sandy victims
BABYLON - Suffolk County has announced it will waive a number of fees for residents and businesses rebuilding from Sandy.
The county announced it will waive all application fees for Health Department permits and licenses.
“We want to continue to send the message that at the local government level, we are working together to help people rebuild,” says County Executive Steve Bellone (D-Suffolk).
In addition to waiving fees, the Health Department says it will process all applications in three to five days.
