The Brentwood Library (Second Avenue and Fourth Street) has an ongoing video blogging team that creates vlogs and podcasts to advertise the library's programs. Register between 1 and 2 p.m. Thursday to join the team. It's free. Call 631-273-7883.

Learn basic concepts of digital photography Wednesday at the Freeport Library (144 W. Merrick Rd.). Those interested can bring their own cameras, but you must reserve a spot; it's free. Call 516-379-3274.
