Teenage girl, young boy hit by SUV on Elm Street in Stamford

STAMFORD - Police say two pedestrians are being treated tonight at Stamford Hospital after they were struck by an SUV.

The accident took place at the intersection of Tresser Boulevard and Elm Street this morning at around 11:45 a.m.

Witnesses say that a teenage girl and a young boy were trying to cross the street in a crosswalk when they were hit.

Police have not identified the victims, and they have not yet determined whether the driver of the SUV will face any charges.
