THE BRONX - Tenants at the 889 Hunts Point Ave. building say they are sharing their apartments with rats the size of cats.

Residents have set up traps that are normally supposed to capture opossums or bigger animals.

The building's management company, Metropolitan Property Services, tells News 12 it's aware of the problem and is increasing the number of exterminator visits to try and fix the problem.

Many of the residents say they've lived in the building for years, but if this problem is not fixed soon, they may have to find a new home.
