YONKERS - Pre-holiday delays continued right through Christmas this year, and many gift-givers are still waiting for their packages from UPS and FedEx.

The two companies blame the delays on bad weather throughout the country and a heavy volume of orders. Some residents say they're angry after being told they could come and pick up orders only to find their orders weren't at the facility.

Some companies, including Amazon, are offering refunds on shipping charges for delayed orders. UPS and FedEx say packages that were supposed to be delivered by Christmas should arrive by this weekend.
