Tolls on New York bridges, tunnels
Motorists crossing the new Tappan Zee bridge when it is completed in 2017 may have to pay a toll as high as $14, according to state officials. Here is a list tolls that drivers pay in the area today. All tolls reflect the cash fee for a two-axle vehicle.
The Verrazano-Narrows Bridge connects Staten Island to Brooklyn. The toll is $13 westbound only.
The Bayonne Bridge connects Bayonne, N.J., to Staten Island. The toll is $12 southbound only.
The George Washington Bridge connects Fort Lee to Manhattan. The toll, which is eastbound only, was raised from $12 to $13 in November 2012.
The Goethals Bridge connects Elizabeth, N.J., to Staten Island. The toll is $12 eastbound only.
The Holland Tunnel connects Jersey City to Manhattan. The toll is $12 eastbound only.
The Lincoln Tunnel connects New Jersey to Manhattan. The toll is $12 eastbound only.
The Bronx-Whitestone Bridge connects Queens to the Bronx. The toll is $6.50 in both directions.
The Throgs Neck Bridge connects the Bronx to Queens. The toll is $6.50 in both directions.
The Tappan Zee Bridge connects Nyack to Tarrytown. The toll is $5 eastbound and southbound only.
The Bear Mountain Bridge connects Fort Montgomery to Peekskill. The toll is $1.50 eastbound only.
The Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge connects Kingston to Rhinecliff. The toll is $1.50 eastbound only.
The Newburgh-Beacon Bridge connects Newburgh to Beacon. The toll is $1.50 eastbound only.
The Rip Van Winkle Bridge connects Hudson to Catskill. The toll is $1 eastbound only.
The Brooklyn Bridge connects Brooklyn to Manhattan. There are no tolls on the bridge.
The Walkway over the Hudson connects Poughkeepsie to Highland. It costs $5 to park at the State Park parking lot in Poughkeepsie.
