TOMS RIVER - Southern New Jersey residents celebrated St. Patrick's Day with another round of snow.

Snow began at around 1:30 a.m. on Monday in Toms River. Several inches of snow accumulated before turning to flurries by mid-morning.

Mayor Tom Kelaher said the weather made for slick driving conditions along Route 37 early this morning, but the decision to put brine down over the weekend helped to melt the snow.

Snow moved out of the area later Monday morning.
