JUNE
SUN FUN FESTIVAL -- Various locations throughout Myrtle Beach / 843-626-7444 or sunfunfestival.com. June 5-9. Kids' activities, a beauty pageant, volleyball competition, fireworks, live music, arts and crafts and food vendors and more. Times vary. Most events are free.

HARBORWALK FESTIVAL // Various locations, downtown Georgetown / 843-546-1511. Midday to midnight June 28. Theater performances, live music, boat tours of the harbor, beauty pageants, a car show and more entertainment, culminating in a free-for-all street dance until midnight. Free.

STAR-SPANGLED CELEBRATION -- Broadway at the Beach, 1325 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach / 843-444-3200 or broadwayatthebeach.com. 10 a.m.-10 p.m. June 30-July 6. A weeklong celebration featuring parades, giveaways, fireworks and more. Free.

JULY
FIREWORKS DISPLAY -- 3500 N. Ocean Blvd. at the Cherry Grove Pier / 866-805-5642 or nmbevents.com. 9:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m. July 4. Kid-friendly games and activities as well. Free.

INDEPENDENCE MUSIC BLAST // La Belle Amie Vineyard, at the corner of Highway 90 and St. Joseph Road / 843-399-WINE or labelleamie.com. Noon-5 p.m. July 5. Live music a variety of bands, food vendors and wine tastings. $15 per person.

AUGUST
CRAFTSMAN CLASSIC ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL // Myrtle Beach Convention Center, 2101 N. Oak St. / 336-282-5550. August 1-3. Features original work from over 250 talented artists and crafts people, with the opportunity to see them demonstrate their creation in their booths.

LABOR DAY WEEKEND CELEBRATION -- Broadway at the Beach, 1325 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach / 843-444-3200 or broadwayatthebeach.com. 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Aug. 29-Sept. 1. Street entertainers, live music, food vendors, mascot appearances and more at this three-day festival. Fireworks on Aug. 30. Free.

BEACH, BOOGIE AND BBQ FESTIVAL -- Valor Park Area, former Air Force base near Business 17 / 800-356-3016 or beachboogiebarbequefestival.com. Aug. 29-30. Call for times. Family entertainment, including live music, barbeque competition, car show, boat rides, arts and craft vendors, giveaways and more. Free.
