Duran Duran played a pair of preview shows in Connecticut last year for its "Red Carpet Massacre" album and tour; now the band is coming back through to perform Dec. 12 at MGM Grand at Foxwoods. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. for $125, $55, $40 and $35. R&B singer Usher is there Nov. 7; tickets are $175, $150 and $100.

Country star Tim McGraw returns to Mohegan Sun Dec. 4-5; tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. for $90, $70 and $50.

David Byrne performs Dec. 2 at the Calvin Theatre in Northampton, Mass. The show will consist of songs from Byrne's various collaborations with Brian Eno, both in Talking Heads and as a solo artist. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. for $58.50 and $48.50.

The Backstreet Boys return Nov. 2 to Chevrolet Theatre in Wallingford; tickets are $57, $47 and $37.
