Highlights

Richard Blumenthal is the Attorney General of Connecticut, a position he has held since 1990. Blumenthal is known for his aggressive law enforcement for consumer protection, labor rights, and personal privacy. Previously, Blumenthal was U.S. Attorney for Connecticut, state¿s chief federal prosecutor. He later moved his career to the House of Representative, serving from 1984-1987. From 1987-1998, Blumenthal served in the State Senate. Blumenthal graduated from Harvard College and Yale Law University. He lives in Greenwich with his wife, and their four children.
