Highlights

Known simply as Q School, the PGA Tour Qualifying School is an outlet for golfers to make the PGA Tour that spans six weeks and three stages. The final stage is a six-day, 108-hole tournament of desperation that awards 25 spots for the next season's PGA Tour. A typical final round includes more than 160 players, with the top 50 earning Nationwide Tour status. Orange County National Golf Club in Winter Garden, Fla., hosted the 2007 finals won by Frank Lickliter II. The top 125 on the PGA Tour money list by season's end are exempt from the Q School. PGA Tour players between No. 126 and 150 on the money list must qualify for the following year by competing in the Q School finals.
