Women hold unofficial Syrian flags -- the former Syrian flag claimed by the Syrian opposition --, on May 29, 2012 in front of the Fontaine des Innocents in Paris, which has been covered with red fabric, during a demonstration to support the Syrian people at the call of the SouriaHouria (Syria Freedom) association with the support of the Paris City Hall and Amnesty International France. The association marked the anniversary of the civil resistance in Damascus on May 29, 1945, and covered or colored fountains in Paris with red as a symbol of the bloodsheds in Syria over the last fourteen months.
