NEWARK, NJ - APRIL 10: Jaromir Jagr #68 of the Boston Bruins carries the puck against Bryce Salvador #24 of the New Jersey Devils at the Prudential Center on April 10, 2013 in Newark, New Jersey.
Quite the guy to get hit by ... It’s not broken, so that’s a good thing. But it’s right on top of the thumb. Right where the thumb connects to the wrist. Holding the stick is really the thing. Being the top hand is the tough part. I’m going to see a specialist on Monday to make sure things aren’t too serious.
I think it was probably all related. I got fortunate ... Not too often you get a favorable schedule (with time off) when you need it. I feel good.
The chemistry, considering what we’re going through losing Kovy and having (Dainius Zubrus) out and (Henrik Tallinder) with some injuries, I think has been real good ... Everyone has welcomed the new guys that have come in. What has been a staple in this organization since I’ve been here is everyone finds ways to look at injuries like Kovy’s as something to rally behind. This organization does a good job of pulling together when we lose key players. We have 15 games here. We have a playoff spot and we really control our destiny.More quotes »
