About Colton Orr

Colton Douglas Orr (born March 3, 1982 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player, currently playing in the National Hockey League for the New York Rangers. Orr is known for being the New York Rangers' enforcer, and is currently playing on their fourth line. Orr - no relation to Bobby Orr - was undrafted and signed as a free agent with the Boston Bruins. On November 29, 2005 the New York Rangers claimed Colton Orr off waivers from the Boston Bruins. Orr scored his first NHL goal in a 9 February 2007 game against the Tampa Bay Lightning's Johan Holmqvist.
