Michel (L) and Aline Langlois, parents of French journalist Romeo Langlois held by leftist rebels for more than a month, give a press conference on May 31, 2012 in Paris a day after the release of their son. Langlois was captured at the end of April by Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) rebels during an attack on a Colombian army unit he was embedded with to film a counter-drug operation. The rebels agreed to hand over Langlois on May 30 to a delegation comprising members of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), French envoy Jean-Baptiste Chauvin and longtime peace activist Piedad Cordoba.
