Justin Ernest George Morneau (born May 15, 1981 in New Westminster, British Columbia) is a Canadian Major League Baseball player who is currently the Minnesota Twins' starting first baseman. In 2006, he was awarded the American League Most Valuable Player award. In 2008, he became the first Canadian to win the Home Run Derby. He is considered one of the premier first basemen in the major leagues.
