About Marouane Fellaini

Marouane Fellaini (born 22 November 1987 in Etterbeek, Brussels) is a Belgian international footballer currently playing for Premier League side Everton and the Belgium national team. Born to Moroccan parents, Fellaini began his football career with the Anderlecht youth team and played for a number of Belgian youth teams before settling at Standard Liège. He broke into the first team in 2006 and won his first international cap in 2007. He won the Belgian League and the Belgian Ebony Shoe in 2008. He joined Everton for an initial fee of £15 million in September 2008.
