HOLMES CHAPEL, ENGLAND - MAY 31: Comedian John Bishop carries the Olympic Torch to the dish of The Lovell Telescope at Jodrell Bank on May 31, 2012 in Holmes Chapel, England. The Olympic Torch visited The Lovell Radio Telescope which began operations in October of 1957 and was first used to track the carrier rocket that launched Sputnik I and later involved in the early exploration by U.S. and Russian space probes. The telescope was also the first to receive images from a Russian moon probe in 1959. The Olympic Flame is now on day 13 of a 70-day relay involving 8,000 torchbearers covering 8,000 miles.
