We said before this that we'd prefer our track to become the official FA Cup Anthem than to be a number one. It genuinely means that much to us, and we can't thank our fans and all the people who voted for us enough. For me, the only thing that would be better is if Sheffield Wednesday were to win the FA Cup next season - but I reckon we can settle for this now.
I've always wondered idly about the 'Wednesday' in Sheffield Wednesday's name and the appearance of Abergavenny Thursday in last week's Knowledge dispelled my notion that the Owls were unique in being named after a week day. So, two-part question: are there any other football clubs named after week days, and why?
It's not true ... I'm not so sure that any player at this club could ever say they have not had a proper chance. What you have to do is produce. Talk to any player in the dressing room, they wouldn't say they haven't had a chance.
