About Six Apart
Six Apart Ltd., sometimes abbreviated 6A, is a software company headquartered in San Francisco, with an international presence in Paris and Tokyo. It is the creator of the widely used Movable Type blogware, TypePad blog hosting service, and Vox, and the former owner of LiveJournal. The name is a reference to the six-day age difference between its married co-founders, Ben and Mena Trott.
