Stanley Frank Musial (born November 21, 1920), originally Stanisław Franciszek Musiał, (pronounced /ˈmjuːziəl/), nicknamed "Stan the Man" and "The Donora Greyhound", is an American former player in Major League Baseball who played 22 seasons for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1941 to 1963. He is considered the greatest player in the history of the St. Louis Cardinals and one of the greatest baseball players of all time.
