Target Chip Ganassi Racing
INDIANAPOLIS, IN - MAY 18: Charlie Kimball, driver of the #83 Novo Nordisk Chip Ganassi Racing Honda, poses after qualifying for the 2013 Indianapolis 500 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on May 18, 2013 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
What Chip Ganassi Racing has always been about, truthfully, is trying to have drivers at the caliber of Ryan drive our race cars ... So with that itself it is important to us to have an accomplished, and very, very well-represented race car drivers. And now we have a fourth one for Indy 500.
I think that’s what Chip Ganassi Racing does best ... It’s got great people with all the tools that we need to go in, and sometimes you don’t know how best to use those tools. And watching Scott and Dario, they are masters at making the most of whatever the situation is.
We weren't actively trying to do a fourth car ... It was a case of maybe if something happens, we'd consider doing it if it wouldn't take away from the team. We don't think this is going to take away from the team, and we are just going take these opportunities as they come and look at each situation individually.More quotes »
