Tornado Warning for northern Nassau
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for northern Nassau County until midnight.
At 11:32, Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado moving east over New Rochelle. The storm is expected to pass over Glen Cove and and Port Washington by 11:50 p.m. and Oyster Bay and Syosett by midnight, the National Weather Service said.
