I'm gonna stick with a classic... Florent in the M.P.D. Charming service and a wide variety of solidly prepared bistro/diner fare.

Cafe Jaffa on St Mark's Place, far enough East you need a passport. The food is great.

The Changing Times Pub is the best in Farmingdale. I ride my bike all the way from Flushing just to hang with my boys at all hours !!!..

I love Gracie's Diner - SW corner of 86th St. and First Ave. It's my go-to place at any hour - a great place to hang for hours with one friend, or ten. Nice waiters, fresh and reasonably priced good food, with a Greek slant. Great fresh fruit smoothies. Delivery at any hour, too.
