When I'm driving to upstate New York or Massachusetts I always try to find a Friendly's Ice Cream Parlor. When I'm really desperate I take the MetroNorth to White Plains and walk a few blocks to the Friendly's in the White Plains Mall. Does anyone else love Friendly's Ice Cream?

The ice cream parlor at F.A.O. Schwarz makes the best banana split I have ever tasted. You get to choose your own combination of toppings, and there's plenty of ice cream for two people!

I haven't been to Shake Shack, because that line is frightening, but I really wish there were more frozen custard on offer in New York.
